twitter?????

1. Twitter is Everywhere!

A common misconception is that social media is “an American fad” that holds no weight in the international community. Actually, the complete opposite is true. Sixty percent of Twitter web traffic comes from outside the United States. Countries like Japan, Spain, the UK and even Taiwan are large contributors to Twitter web traffic. Twitter has become the newest way to cross international borders and create the proverbial “global village” online.

2. “How does using Twitter help you with your business??”

It helps us find new prospective clients
They then start reading our blog or subscribe to our e-mail newsletter
They trust us thanks to finding value in the content we give them
They become paying clients
They continue to trust us and find value in the content we give them, and so share it with other prospective clients

Chris Jordan - pictures some shocking stats

1. He talks about huge social issues; plastic cups, paper cups, smoking, plastic cancer, etc. however, the difference is that gather those enormous statistics together and translate them into a more universal visual language. Photo.
- He wants people to feel these huge probelms more deeply.
" if we can feel these issues, if we can feel these things more deeply, then they will matter to us"

2. I should put more meaning to my pictures.

3. Do people really feel more deeply when they look at those pictures? or is it just another Art that no one cares about. (because I did not actually feel strongly about those things when I looked at his photo)
-(why do they have to put in Art gallery, hard to go)

4. 'IDea'
I really like his idea about using photo to help people to feel more deeply about social issues. it is more effective then just using numbers.

- From this, I learn that I should change my attitude. She thinks tumor as a gift but look at me. I barely appreciate my healthy body.

"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning" (??).
I think this quotation fits well with this chapter.
